Academic Project

  • Developing Stabilized Material Point Method for Free Surface Flow Modeling. (2023-2024)
  • A Master's thesis under the guidance of Prof. Tsung-Hui Huang. Using high-performance parallel computing package (Taichi Lang) in Python to implement mesh-free numerical methods, solving nonlinear differential equation (Navier-Stokes Equation) of free surface flow problems.
  • Diverse Forms of Denticles Facilitate the Evolutionary Success of Sharks. (2022-2023)
  • A cross-department project under the guidance of Prof. Tsung-Hui Huang. Applying Python module (VarMINT) developed by Prof. David Kamensky to open-source computing platform FEniCS, to conduct fluid-structure interaction simulation on shark's denticle. The simulation result contributes to the paper "Diverse Forms of Denticles Facilitate the Evolutionary Success of Sharks" which was submitted to Nature Communications.
  • Thermal Hydraulic Analysis for AB-BNCT Target using CFD Methodology. (2021)
  • A Bachelor's project under the guidance of Prof. Yu-Ming Ferng. Applying CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis with commercial software (Ansys Fluent / SolidWorks) to estimate the heat transfer ability of the Accelerator-Based Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (AB-BNCT), in collaboration with Heron Neutron Medical Corp.
